Calculator Use

The graphing scientificand Four-function calculators are allowed or available for certain tests. (r) tests. Unless it is stipulated that a calculator is allowed for a specific test the calculator cannot be employed.

Test takers aren't allowed to use calculators with others.

Tests That Do Not Permit Use of a Calculator

In general, unless specifically stated that a specific kind of calculator is allowed or necessary for a specific test, calculators cannot be used for every test. test.

Tests That Permit the Use of a Calculator

You can use a four-function or scientific calculator to pass this Middle School: Content Knowledge (5146) test, but you aren't required to use one. Bring your own calculator to the testing centre. There is no calculator available in the test center. A graphing calculator isn't allowed for this test.

Types of CalculatorsThat Are Not Permitted

The following items are not allowed for Praxis test:

  • Laptops, portable computers, or handheld computers
  • Electronic pads for writing
  • Models with pen-input/stylus/touch-screen capability
  • Calculators are available on all phones or watches, as well as other electronic devices
  • Models that include QWERTY and other alphabetic keys in software or hardware
  • Printing models
  • Models that emit noise or "talk"
  • models that need an electrical outlet
  • Models that are able to connect to the internet or have either wireless, or Bluetooth (r) capability.
  • Models with a camera that can scan or scan, as well as the ability to record or play digital audio/video

Additionally, the use of any peripheral hardware is prohibited.
